Amedeo Bassi sang Radames in the opening of the Colon with "Aida".

In that same season of 1908, he also sang Pinkerton ("Madama Butterfly"), Ducca ("Rigoletto"), Mario ("Tosca"), Paolo ("Paolo e Francesca"), Fausto ("Mefistofele"), Canio ("Pagliacci"), and Mariano ("Aurora" by Ettore Panizza, "Alta pel cielo, un aquila guerriera").
